Investigate a series of mysterious deaths. The game tests your ability to piece together clues and reconstruct the events leading up to some mysterious deaths. The Case of the Golden Idol is a wryly amusing detective game set in the 18th century, brought to life with striking hand-drawn artwork. Maybe the last DLC is not as fluid as the previous one, or the main game, from a narrative and puzzle construction point of view, but I would suggest the purchase of the whole package anyway, because it is really good and I really enjoyed it. Case 3: Sebastian's estate is divided by attorney Marker (also an Brotherhood member). Case 2: Albert's son Sebastian, who is a member of the Brotherhood (red ruby ring) and the new owner of the idol, dies in a horse riding accident. ![]() The main campaign clocks around 10 hours, while the 2 DLCs add another 6 hours on top of it and act as a prequel, revealing the origins of the Golden Idol myth. Case 1: Albert Cloudsley kills for the golden idol. ![]() No fancy graphics or sound effects but a unique take on puzzle and investigation games that will challenge you more and more as the story progresses, leaving you more than pleased about your cunning with each stage completed. This game surprised me with an elaborate and interesting tale of mysteries and gruesome killings across 60 years in the 16th century.
